You get a roof that handles whatever Connecticut throws at it. No more lying awake during storms wondering if water’s getting in. No more emergency calls to roofers because something failed.
When your roof is installed right the first time, you stop worrying about it. The materials we use are designed for coastal conditions – salt air, heavy snow, and those brutal nor’easters that test everything on your house.
Your investment protects your family and your belongings. More importantly, it gives you one less thing to stress about when the weather gets rough.
Sullivan Contracting has been installing roofs in southeastern Connecticut for years. We understand what works here and what doesn’t.
We’re licensed, insured, and local. That means when you call, you’re talking to people who live and work in the same community. We see the same weather you do, and we know how to build for it.
You won’t find us chasing storms or knocking on doors after every weather event. We’re here year-round, handling both planned installations and emergency situations when they arise.
First, we come out and assess your current roof and your home’s specific needs. We measure everything, check the structure, and identify any issues that need addressing before we start.
Then we provide a detailed estimate that breaks down materials, labor, and timeline. No surprises, no hidden costs. You know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs.
During installation, we protect your landscaping and property. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily routine. Most residential installations take 1-3 days depending on size and complexity.
When we’re done, we clean up completely and walk through everything with you. You get warranty information and know exactly who to call if you have questions later.

Your roof installation includes removal of old materials, inspection of the roof deck, and installation of new underlayment, shingles, and all necessary flashing. We handle permits and ensure everything meets local building codes.
We use materials rated for Connecticut’s climate conditions. That means impact resistance for hail, wind ratings for coastal storms, and proper ventilation systems that prevent ice dams in winter.
Every installation includes gutters, downspouts, and proper drainage to direct water away from your foundation. We also install ridge vents and soffit vents to maintain proper airflow and prevent moisture problems.
